A unique program that opens young minds to the fine arts. 

Come join a class where children have fun exploring fine art techniques while learning the masterpieces of such artists as Van Gogh, Picasso, Rothko, Calder, Matisse and Seurat.  Each student will be introduced to famous works of art and basic concepts and techniques. They will have a chance to create their own unique paintings, drawings, sculpture and “stained glass”. A handout about the day’s theme will be taken home as well as a finished artwork.

Each class includes:

1.)    A fun introduction to an artist, movement,  or concept

2.)    A group discussion and slideshow of the topic

3.)    Each student creates their own unique piece of art

4.)   Students take home handout & artwork to share with family
